What is Televizo Player?

Televizo Player is a media player app for Android, Android TV, Fire TV, Google TV and Smart TVs that plays M3U and Xtream Codes playlists. It does not include channels — you add your own playlist to watch live TV, movies and series.

Does Televizo provide TV channels?

No. The player is software only. A compatible TV service subscription adds channels through a playlist. We clearly separate the player from any subscription service.

The player is free to install and use. Televizo Premium unlocks additional player features. A TV service subscription is a separate, optional purchase.

Which devices does Televizo support?

Android phones and tablets, Android TV, Google TV, Amazon Fire TV / Firestick, and Smart TVs powered by Android TV or Google TV.

Is Televizo Player legal?

Yes. Televizo Player is legal software — a media player that reads playlists you provide. It does not host or provide any channels. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to access any content you add.

Does Televizo support Xtream Codes?

Yes. You can add an Xtream Codes playlist by entering the server URL, username, and password directly in Televizo.

Playback stutters on mobile data

Switch to Wi-Fi, or lower the stream quality in Televizo settings. Mobile signal strength varies by location, so if it drops, the stream buffers. A stable 5 Mbps connection is enough for standard definition.

The app says 'install unknown apps' is blocked

You only see this if you're installing an APK. Go to Settings → Apps → Special access → Install unknown apps and allow it for your browser or file manager, then open the APK again.

Channels load but video is blank

Your player is connected but the stream format may not be supported on your device codec. Try another channel — if most work, the source is the issue. Update Televizo to the latest version for the best codec support.

Televizo uses too much storage

Clear the app cache in Settings → Apps → Televizo → Storage → Clear cache. This removes temporary files without deleting your playlists. Reinstall only if cache clearing doesn't help.

The app drains my battery

Lower the stream quality on mobile data and close Televizo when not in use. Background EPG refreshes can use power — set a longer EPG update interval in settings if you don't need a constantly fresh guide.
